Striking at Apex Ashburn is organized around Boxing and Muay Thai. Boxing is the sweet science of footwork, head movement, defense, and crisp combinations, taught through bag work, pad rounds, partner drills, and controlled live work. The program serves adults throughout the week, with age-grouped Kids, Youth, and Teen Boxing on the schedule. Muay Thai is the art of eight limbs, combining punches and kicks with elbows, knees, and clinch work. Kids and Youth learn movement, pad work, combinations, coordination, discipline, and respect in early-evening classes, while Teens train at the adult class times with age-appropriate intensity. Adult Muay Thai runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Both arts deliver serious conditioning, but the workout follows from learning real technique rather than from a choreographed fitness routine. Beginners are welcome in every trial lane, sparring stays optional, and coaches scale contact and intensity to the student in front of them. Students can start with the art that interests them most and build from there.
